01
How can therapy help me?
Therapy can help you understand yourself more clearly, strengthen relationships, resolve concerns, cope with stress, improve communication, change old patterns, and build confidence. What you gain depends in part on how actively you use the process and practice what you learn.
02
Do I really need therapy?
You do not have to be in crisis to benefit from support. Seeking therapy can be a responsible, self-aware step when old solutions are no longer working or you want guidance through a difficult season.
03
What is therapy like?
Sessions are shaped by your goals. You may discuss current events, relevant history, patterns you notice, and progress between sessions. Most clients begin with regular weekly appointments and may receive reading, journaling, or practical exercises to support the work.
04
Medication or psychotherapy?
Medication may help with symptoms, while therapy addresses emotional distress, behavior patterns, relationships, and underlying causes. Your medical provider can help you decide whether medication, therapy, or a combination is appropriate.
05
Do you take insurance?
Insurance is not accepted for couples therapy; couples work is self-pay. Insurance may be available for individual therapy clients in Georgia. Contact our team for general information about next steps; do not submit insurance details through the website.
